Safari Overview
Our 7 Days Tsavo West, Tsavo East, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha & Masai Mara Safari takes you to the most famous game reserves and National parks in Africa. Tsavo West National Park is located in the Coast Province of Kenya. The park covers an area of 9,065 square kilometres. It ranges from 200-1000 metres in altitude. This park is marked with a number of rocky outcrops and volcanic hills. It’s lesser known due to its large size and a smaller concentration of wildlife compared with other parks.
Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest parks in Kenya, located South East of Kenya near the Town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province, inland from the Coast, it is 13,747 sq.km. offers great wildlife viewing in pristine wilderness. All of the Big Five are here. Elephants are common, and their red dust coating makes them stand out against the arid environment. Of the big cats, lions are most easily spotted. Buffalo, zebra and plenty of Masai giraffes are some of the other animals you can expect to see.
Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks in Kenya, located Loitoktok District, Rift Valley. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Lake Naivasha is the largest freshwater lake fringed by lush forests of fever trees and overlooked by the ragged-edged of the volcanic Mount Longonot on floor of the Great Rift Valley. It is home to about 400 species of birds and wildlife such as Giraffe, hippo and waterbuck, but the main attraction is the bird life, which is best observed on a boat trip on the lake.
Last destination is the Masai Mara Game Reserve which is the most famous for a Kenya safari. It is located southwestern of Kenya. It is home to over 5 million animals which roam its savannahs including lions, cheetahs, leopard, hippos, rhinos, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, crocodiles, reedbucks etc. Masai Mara Game Reserve is also famous for the wildebeest Migration which is one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World.”
