MORNING STAR SAFARIS FAQ's

Frequently Asked Questions

Planning a safari to East Africa can at first glance be a daunting task; a myriad of companies offering an array of safari experiences to different destinations. At East Africa Safari Ventures, we are here to advise you and guide you through this process to create a safari that’s uniquely suited for you and your group.

These Frequently Asked Questions are a collection of the common questions that our safari guests have asked in the past, as well as some of the things we’ll ask you to consider as you start thinking about your adventure.

What is the best time for a safari?

Just about any time of year. However, the most popular seasons are mid December to mid March and August to mid the end of October. This is because of the demand for Christmas and winter holidays and the summer school breaks.

An increasing number of visitors are realising that June and November are ideal, benefiting from lower visitor numbers. Serene East Africa Safaris offers some safaris with greatly reduced or no single supplements in the months of April and May. Also, we may well be able to offer some good discounts for larger groups during this period – please contact us for details.

Experience a worry-free safari adventure with our carefully crafted packages. We take care of all the details, including park entrance fees and taxes.

Our all-inclusive safari packages ensure that you have unrestricted access to these iconic destinations without any additional costs. No need to worry about unexpected fees at the park gates – everything is taken care of in advance.

It’s important to note that the availability and options for accommodations can vary between the parks. When planning your safari, we pick the accommodations that align with your preferences, budget, and desired level of comfort.

Here are some general details about the types of accommodations typically available during a safari in Kenyan or Tanzanian national parks:

Tented Camps: These are semi-permanent or mobile camps that offer a blend of comfort and a close-to-nature experience. Tents are often spacious, equipped with comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, and basic amenities. Some tented camps provide additional facilities like dining areas, lounges, and campfire areas.

Lodges: Lodges offer more permanent structures and a range of amenities. They often provide comfortable rooms or suites with en-suite bathrooms, restaurant facilities, lounges, and sometimes swimming pools. Lodges may be located within or in close proximity to the parks, offering convenience and a higher level of comfort.

Luxury Camps: These are upscale tented camps that provide luxurious accommodations and amenities. They feature spacious and elegantly furnished tents with en-suite bathrooms, fine dining options, private decks, and other lavish facilities. Luxury camps offer a combination of high-end comfort and an authentic safari experience.
