10 Days Kenya Wildlife Adventure Safari
Safari Overview
Our 10 Days Kenya Safari Adventure takes you to seven of Kenya’s top safari destinations to give you the complete overview of this fascinating country. Each of these seven parks offers something unique: whether it’s endemic wildlife not seen elsewhere, dramatic landscapes, or sheer animal variety. It’s the ultimate Kenyan safari package for those wanting to maximise their game-viewing opportunities. Amboseli National Park is situated in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya. Amboseli National Park ecosystem is mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya -Tanzania border, an area of low scrubby vegetation and open grassy plains, all of which makes for easy game viewing. It is the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants, which are for sure a breath-taking sight to behold, whereas various African lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other species can also be spotted, offering spectacular photographic experiences.
Sweetwaters Game Reserve & Chimp Sanctuary. This 24000 acre private reserve saddling the Equator enjoys magnificent views across the plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya, and has an abundance of wildlife and tropical vegetation. Sweetwaters Game Reserve and Chimpanzee Sanctuary is the closest reserve to Kenya’s Capital Nairobi to boast all of the “Big 5” game – Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo. Samburu National Reserve is a Kenyan Safari that combines great landscape views, superb wildlife spotting and rich African culture.
Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District, whose heat-scorched scrublands extend all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond. Samburu’s diverse fauna includes rare Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Elephant, Lion, and Cheetah. This sanctuary awaits you with 350 bird species including the sharp Kingfisher, Sunbird, Bee-eater, Marabou Stork, Bateleur and Palm-nut Vulture.
Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the stunning flocks of millions of lesser flamingos and over 400 other species of birds, which literally turn the lake shores in to a magnificent pink stretch. Lake Nakuru is also home to the black and white rhino sanctuary, gazelles, Dik Diks, leopards, buffalo, lions and an array of other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is an alkaline soda lake lying 160 km from Nairobi. For nature lovers, this park is covered in grassland and surrounded by euphorbia and acacia forests creating a beautiful natural background that contrasts well with the pink shores.
Lake Bogoria is a saline, alkaline lake that lies in a volcanic region south of Lake Baringo, a little north of the equator. Lake Bogoria, like Lake Nakuru and Lake Elmenteita in Kenya’s Rift Valley, is home, at times, to one of the world’s largest populations of lesser flamingos. The lake is also famous for its natural geysers and hot springs, which are situated along the bank of the lake and within the lake.
Lake Naivasha is the largest freshwater lake fringed by lush forests of fever trees and overlooked by the ragged-edged of the volcanic Mount Longonot on floor of the Great Rift Valley. The main attraction is the bird life, which is best observed on a boat trip on the lake.
Masai Mara Game Reserve which is the most famous for a Kenya safari. It is located southwestern of Kenya. Kate G12 March 2026Verified Second wonderful trip Morningstar Safaris has been wonderful to travel with, and this was actually our second safari with them. Across our two trips we’ve now visited four different national parks and were fortunate enough to see the entire Big Five, which was unforgettable. What really stands out is the professionalism and warmth of the team. Our guide, Willy, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about wildlife, always making sure we were in the right place at the right time while also taking time to explain what we were seeing. He was our guide last year too and continues to be amazing. Everything was seamlessly organized, from transportation to park logistics, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. If you’re looking for a safari company that is reliable, friendly, and truly committed to creating memorable wildlife experiences, Morningstar Safaris is outstanding. We wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again and hope we will a third time! Stephanie K10 March 2026Verified Dream come true It has been a dream of mine to visit Kenya and do a safari for as long as I could remember. I've always watched nature documentaries and have a huge love for animals. Being able to see all these amazing creatures (lions, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, forest hogs, mongoose, hyenas, hippos, rhinos, jackels, several kinds of antelope, water bucks, buffalo, wildebeasts, flamingos and no many different kinds of birds all within their natural habitats and not within a zoo or exotic ranch as been truely amazing. Mr, Steven, my guide for the trip, was veey knowledgeable and would give me all sorts of facts about the animals as well as the pointing out the way of life for Kenyans and the Masaai people. It was very humbling to be able to experience others live and work the fields and trade with their neighbors. The sense of community was strong in Kenya. All of the accommodations were very nice and comfortable and the food was delicious. As a somewhat picky eater (so I've been told) I typically struggle eating in other countries, and Kenya was a place that I had zero issues. The hospitality is unmatched as well by everyone I met. I'm glad I chose Morningstar for making me feel safe, welcome and for giving me a great adventure I will remember for a lifetime. The value for the tour was also very reasonable for everything that was included, just be sure to bring plenty of cash for tipping (for bell hops and waiters and don't forget the drivers), as well as extra space in your luggage for all the temptational shopping you might do (just about everywhere accepted cards as well). Hope to do another safari one day! kjkavanagh4 March 2026Verified Incredible! Our safari in the Masai Mara was unforgettable thanks to our exceptional guide, Rono. His knowledge of wildlife and tracking skills led us to incredible sightings — including four of the Big Five — all while ensuring our safety and comfort. He positioned the vehicle perfectly for photos, never rushed the experience, and shared meaningful insights about the ecosystem and local culture. Professional, attentive, and respectful of the land, he made the trip truly extraordinary. I highly recommend Rono and Morning Star to anyone visiting the Mara. tancsicspeter2 March 2026Verified Fantastic Safari, great team, do not hesitate to book! We booked a 5day safari for our family with 2 big kids. The communication with Dennis during booking process was great, he is responsive and very flexible. We were happy with the itinerary, the booked lodges. Our guide, Alex was very knowledgeable, was always looking for the best spots to view the animals. We saw the big 5 as well, and generally the whole safari was a life time-experience. Will definitely come back, and have our next safari with Morningstar. Do not hesitate to book 😊!! Aneli P17 February 2026Verified Amazing Safari (lake Nakuru and Masai Mara) We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Morningstar Safari, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Our main contact was Beryl, and from the very beginning she was extremely professional, flexible, and attentive. She suggested different ways to make the most of our trip and helped tailor everything perfectly to our needs. Communication was very smooth both via email and WhatsApp — she answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly, which gave us great confidence before arriving. When we finally arrived at the airport and met Beryl in person, she was just as professional, friendly, and genuinely kind as she had been throughout the planning process. It was such a pleasure to meet her. Our driver-guide, Augustine, was truly exceptional. His knowledge is impressive, and his eyesight is on another level — he could spot animals we would never have seen on our own! Beyond his expertise, his good energy, friendliness, and sense of humor made every game drive even more enjoyable. We always felt comfortable and well taken care of with him. We stayed at Sopa Nakuru and Zebra Valley in Masai Mara, and both were amazing. A special mention goes to Margaret from Zebra Valley, who is another incredible person that will definitely put a smile on your face during your stay. While Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara were breathtaking and unforgettable destinations, we truly believe it’s the people who make the biggest difference. Beryl and Augustine absolutely made this experience extraordinary and unforgettable for us. We will definitely be back — and we won’t hesitate for a second to choose Beryl and Augustine again to plan our next adventure. alessia c13 February 2026Verified Fantastic Kenya If our Kenya vacation was special, it's thanks to Morningstar. From the quote to the booking, everything was simple, thanks to Doreen's timely and detailed responses. And what about the safari? Our driver, Augustine, was fantastic, a great guide and great driver, an expert on animals, parks, and African culture. The safari days and the long drives from one place to another were comfortable and filled with conversations on a variety of topics. Thank you, Augustine, you are a special man who loves his work and his country, it wouldn't have been the same without you! Same excellent review about the lodges in the parks: the service and location exceeded all expectations. I recommend everyone to stay two nights at the Maasai Mara and one night at Lake Nakuru. We managed to see so many animals in February, some of them extremely closed. For the beach, we chose three nights at Diani Beach. Thank you Doreen for booking the Swahili Beach Resort, one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever seen, equipped with every comfort and impeccable service. We hope to return to Kenya soon. We will definitely rely on Morningstar and on Augustine. We recommend this agency to everyone. sue w12 February 2026Verified A memorable trip to Kenya Thank you to Morning Star for a fantastic safari trip. To Winnie for organising our itinerary. The proposal impressed me, it was not just an email with ideas but a professional document. To John our Guide/Driver for making sure that we saw every animal we would ever expect to see - not just the big 5 but all the other animals and birds we managed to see. We were met at the airport by one of the Morning Star guides and dropped at our hotel. The next day John picked us up from our Nairobi hotel and our adventure began. We spent 3 days and nights in the Mara where we saw cheetah, leopard, rhino, lots of elephants, zebra, lions and cubs and more lions, giraffe. Our camp was the Zebra Valley which was placed such that we could watch the animals across from the camp. Then we went to Lake Nakuru and saw even more animals, more rhino. One day later on to Lake Naivasha and the Sopa Lodge which was lovely. Morning star had arranged a guide and boat trip out to the island to see birds animals. A day later and on to Amboselli and the lovely Kibo Safari camp (my favourite stay), Here we saw elephants all trooping down to the Marsh and got the most fantastic photos. John always made sure he not only got us to the animals but he placed the truck so that we got the good shots and was happy to wait until we were happy to move on. Thank you both and to all the team at Morning Star dudasmari8 February 2026Verified Best company, best tour-operator, and the best driver/guide ever! We were five friends traveling together, and four were 70-plus. We booked an 8-day safari with Morningstar Tours & Travel, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. Our tour-operator, Joysharon, was amazing—she didn’t just nail the tour organization, but she also looked out for us during the rest of our time in Kenya. She helped us with everything, even though she didn't have to. Huge thanks for that! Alex was our driver and guide for the whole 8 days. He was super nice and helpful, and we learned so many cool facts from him about the local wildlife and plants. He seemed to know everyone and used his radio to hear all the goings on and got us up close to a lot of animals. His local knowledge is top-notch: he knew his way around even the unmarked paths in the parks. The accommodations were excellent, and the whole itinerary was wonderful. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli National Park and a Masay village in the park, and finally Tsavo West & East. Big thanks to both Joysharon and Alex for all the help, the pinpoint precision, and those unforgettable days. We highly recommend Morningstar to everyone! Adriana G7 February 2026Verified Unforgettable experience We visited three national parks with very different ecosystems in Kenya: Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli. The experience was absolutely incredible, and we felt extremely happy and satisfied with this trip. Communication with Morningstar was fast and smooth, and the planning was always adapted to our preferences. Dennis was very helpful, attentive, and responsive throughout the entire process. What truly made our tour perfect, however, was our driver and guide, Mwololo (Steven). He was excellent, his driving was very efficient and we always felt safe with him. He is also amazing at spotting wildlife: we saw almost all the animals you can possibly see (the only one we missed was the leopard, and we were told no one had seen one in the previous three days). Mwololo patiently answered all our questions and helped us understand Kenya, its people, and its flora and fauna much better. His knowledge and kindness made a huge difference. The hotels booked by Morningstar were all excellent, very close to nature, with comfortable rooms and beds. The food at all the hotels was also very good and exceeded our expectations. Lastly, we want to thank Morningstar from the bottom of our hearts for their help when we lost our passports. Both Mwololo and Dennis went above and beyond to help us locate them and organize transportation so we could receive them in time before our next flights. Thank you so much, we truly don’t know what we would have done without you. Miguel B28 January 2026Verified Perfect honeymoon We had an unforgettable honeymoon thanks to this travel agency. Willy was our guide, and everything went smoothly and exactly as planned. The selection of hotels and parks was exactly what we had hoped for, and Willy was always incredibly attentive and genuinely concerned about our well-being throughout the trip. We were also very lucky during all our safaris, as we managed to see a wide and impressive variety of wild animals. Without a doubt, we would choose to organise another trip with them again. Highly recommended!
